IGUMO’s high achievements

 The students of IGUMO’s Department of Information Technologies, S. Bozhko and A. Alexandrovsky, have become pioneers in developing an advanced computerized testing system on the basis of the updated software package «Microsoft Share Point Server 2010».

 At present it is the most innovative software programs package which has just been put in use. Thus, the Institute for the Humanities and IT holds the lead. The success of the computer product designed by fifth-year students of the Department of Information Technologies has already contributed to IGUMO’s high rating at the market of educational services. The students’ professional competency, their talent for programming is undoubtedly a show trial for the Institute’s achievements in teaching.

 The new computerized testing system allows for a fast and thorough check of student’s mid-of-the-course and / or residual knowledge in different subjects. Automatically given score corresponds with the difficulty of the questions in the systems’ design.

  «The testing system developed by the Information Technologies Department students has made it possible to improve efficiency of control over training at the Institute», − A.V. Ermakov, Deputy Rector for Information Technologies summed up.

 At this moment «a team of experts» consisting of some budget-sponsored IGUMO’s students is testing the system. The first test is successful; IGUMO’s students have scored off.
