Business English

 On April, 27th, 2010 the IGUMO Law Department offered a public lesson in the academic discipline Business English. The students that took part in the lesson defended their English projects on the subjects «Jury» and «Law of the United States.

 Due to the fact that the students of the Law Department have been studying Legal English vocabulary for a few years, they are not only able to read the English articles related to Law but they also make reasonable and interesting presentations. Public opinion poll, statistical data research and all other branches of the students’ activity are easily done as well.

 During the previous academic year the following 11 English presentations made by the students of non-linguistics departments were successfully defended:

„Death Penalty.“ by N. Orekhova, M.Sokolova, third-year students of the Law Department.
„Legal Awareness“ by D.Mogachev, A.Gournitski, third-year students of the Law Department.
„Jury“ by N.Vaganian, S.Abramushkin, second-year students of the Law Department.
„Law of the United States“ by A.Karakhan, a second-year student of the Law Department.
„Lawyer as Profession“ by I.Kintsurashvili, M.Narmania, second-year students of the Law Department.
„Family Law“ by A.Yakovleva, a first-year student of the Law Department.
„Creativity in Advertising“ by M.Usenko, a fourth-year student of the Economics and Management Department.
„Economy of the United States“ by S.Burov, a third-year student of the Economics and Management Department.
„Banking. In God We Trust – All Others Pay“ by I.Klimanov, a third-year student of the Economics and Management Department.
