Crime and Punishment (Following the plot of the fairy-tale “Little Red Riding Hood”)

 The moots on «the real villains» initiated by Ph.D. (Law), Professor Marina Volynkina, PhD, IGUMO Rector became a tradition at IGUMO Law Department. The effectiveness of this type of training is indisputable – for the students of the Law Department «cold theory» was substituted for job-related training and real legal proceedings. In the course of such lessons the students’ knowledge of theory and the level of their interdisciplinary competence are checked, they master practical skills and the oratory.

 April, 14, 2010 M. Davitadze M., Dean of the Law Department, attended the moot. It was interesting more interesting than usual. The students discussed and analyzed the testimonial evidences of the participants of the trial, the prosecutors established the corpus delicti incriminated to Wolf, the lawyers thought over the position of the defense. M. Davitadze told them that being the investigator and the prosecutor one should reason the qualification actions of the defendant. He helped the prosecutors to establish the corpus delicti, disclosed each article of the Russian Federation Criminal Code related to the illegal deprivation of liberty.

 And now all the students of the Law Department are waiting with impatience for the moment when the doors of the IGUMO training court-room will be open for them again.
