The Second-year Students of Law Department Took Part in a Trial in Real-Time Mode

 April, 11, 2005 the full-time second-year students of the Law Department took part in a trial in real time.

 Divorce, three under age children’ maintenance, partition of the property acquired during and before the marriage – those were the main points of the statement of claim.

 As soon as the appearance of the participants in the court was checked, the procedural rules were explained to them and the witnesses were got out of the court-room the consideration of the case on the merits started.

 In the course of the legal proceeding 10 witnesses were examined, the expert’s speech was heard; the representative of the Trusteeship and Custody Department was listened to.

 The future lawyers showed their extreme resourcefulness and they were so serious that in the trial participants momentarily forgot about their being present in a class-room and that the judicial proceeding was just a job-related training.
