The Department of Law
Qualified lawyers have always been in great demand. Lawyer is a many-sided profession, and it has a great many points of force application: corporate lawyers, international law specialists, lawyers, and finally, officials of law enforcement, police, prosecutor’s office and FSB (Federal Security Service of Russia). It is the IGUMO IT Law Department that trains such professionals. More than 90% graduates of the department hold important positions in governmental and private institutions.
The worldwide academics, Russia’s honoured workers of science, doctors of law teach at the Law Department of IGUMO IT. They are: PhD Professor Antonyan Y. M. and PhD Professor Pobegailo E. F. The people who contribute to the honour of the department are: Professor Volynkina M. V., PhD (Law); Professor Arifulin A. A., honoured lawyer of the Russian Federation, former vice-president of the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation; Professor Davitadze M. All the students of the Law Department undergo annual job-related training. IGUMO IT cooperates with the Supreme Court Justice Department of Moscow, the Administration of the Peace of Moscow, the inter-district prosecutor’s offices of Moscow, the law enforcement agencies, the Bailiffs Administration of Eastern Administrative Area of Moscow, the Bar and the law offices of Moscow, company «Rosnedvizhimost» (the Federal Real Estate Cadastre Agency).
