It is Hard to Believe, but it is True – Mark Twain Himself Visited IGUMO IT!

 Believe it or not but you could see M. Twain strolling in the Institute for the Humanities and IT last week. How was that possible? Owing to the fact that there was organized an event called «Laughing and Crying America» in IGUMO IT.

 The adapted for the stage competitive festival was dedicated to the writings of two cult icons of American literature – M. Twain and O. Henry. And it was Ken Richters, an American actor famous for personification and performing as Mark Twain for a countless number of times all over the world, who did a lot to contribute to the festive occasion.

 The initiative to undertake the festival was launched by IGUMO and supported by the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, Moscow English Language Teachers Association (MELTA), the newspaper «English» of the publishing house «The First of September», and the Methodic Centre of the Moscow Eastern Area Education Administration.

 IGUMO IT successfully demonstrated that in cultural exchange there is no border between the countries.
